“I don’t have enough kind things to say about Claire to do her services justice. We hired Claire as a doula pretty late into our pregnancy, as we had just moved to the Nashville area. At our meetings prior to giving birth, she educated us and helped prepare us for what was to come physically and mentally. She was there for us when we had to have an ecv to flip our breeched baby. We appreciated it so much since that was kind of a traumatic experience that could have turned into a c section (thankfully it did not) and it was great to have the extra support there. Two weeks later we went into labor. We had planned to deliver at baby and co naturally and unmedicated but due to circumstances beyond our control our plan changed a few hours into hard labor and we wound up at Vanderbilt hospital where we delivered our daughter with the help of medicine. Claire was supportive and encouraging and helped us get through one of the longest/craziest/most painful/but best days of our lives, and especially supportive of when we had to completely 360 our birth plan towards the end.
